Freed from Addiction

What it means

This node gathers accounts of people delivered from the bondage of addiction through faith in Jesus Christ, bearing reverent witness to a freedom that willpower alone could never secure. Such stories embody the truth that the Son sets the captive free indeed (John 8:36) and that those once enslaved to sin can be washed and changed, for Paul reminds the Corinthians that such were some of you, 'but you were washed, you were sanctified' (1 Corinthians 6:11).
