From Atheism to Christ

What it means

This node gathers accounts of skeptics, unbelievers, and former atheists who came to trust Jesus Christ, shared to encourage the faithful and to show seekers that honest questions can lead to genuine faith. Scripture testifies that God draws even hardened opponents, none more dramatically than Saul of Tarsus, who persecuted the church until the risen Christ confronted him and made him the apostle Paul (Acts 9:1-22). These stories reflect the promise that those who seek God with their whole heart will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13), and that faith rests not on wishful thinking but on real evidence, as the risen Jesus offered to doubting Thomas (John 20:27). They magnify the God who opens blind eyes and gives a new heart, turning intellectual objection into worship. As example nodes, they hold the testimony that no one is beyond the reach of grace.
