What it means

Scripture is the written Word of God, breathed out by the Holy Spirit through human authors and given to make us 'wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus' (2 Timothy 3:15-16). It is the final authority on which this whole network rests, not because of the cleverness of those who wrote or repeat it, but because God Himself speaks through it, and His word does not return to Him empty (Isaiah 55:11). From Genesis to Revelation it tells one unfolding story of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration, and its central subject is Jesus Christ, of whom Moses and the Prophets wrote (Luke 24:27) and to whom all the Scriptures bear witness (John 5:39). It is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), able to expose the heart, convict of sin, and lead to life. Everything Myriad publishes is measured against this Word and submits to it.
